Spotted Ratings, Thursday 9/1/11 (FINALS)

WHAT MATTERS:

• The broadcast networks were hit with a barrage of preseason NFL competition along with preemptions for said games, making it a low-rated evening of mostly repeats. The only broadcast originals were Big Brother (2.5), hitting its lowest number in about four weeks, and Rookie Blue (1.1), which hit its second-lowest level ever. But I wouldn't read a ton into either of those numbers. A double-dose of The Big Bang Theory (1.4) led the repeats, but even it was well below average.
