Spotted Ratings, Sunday 9/11/11 (FINALS)

WHAT MATTERS:

• Get used to it on Sundays; it was all about the NFL (10.7), whose Sunday Night Football matchup between the Cowboys and Jets was the strongest Sunday night regular season game ever both in the demo and in total viewers (where it scored 25.77 million). It was a couple ticks weaker than the Packers/Saints game on Thursday, but it was still up more than a point (11%) from last year's Sunday opener.

• Very much on the map was CBS with their special 9/11: 10 Years Later (3.6 demo and 12.34 million viewers overall).

• Fox got a huge boost thanks to an hour of NFL overrun and postgame show The OT (10.2), which boosted The Simpsons (2.4) to its biggest rerun numbers of the fall.
