WHAT MATTERS:
- Coming into this evening, there was only one night on which Big Brother hadn't broken a 3.0 demo this season. Now there are none, as Big Brother (3.1) hit a new Thursday high and finished tied for the season's second-strongest effort overall.
- ABC's lineup crashed from preliminary numbers, and Wipeout (1.6) also crashed by 0.3 week-to-week. Expedition Impossible (1.3) in its finale and Rookie Blue (1.2) were both flat week-to-week.
- The night's biggest story was Jersey Shore (4.5), which tied its second-highest 18-49 rating ever and hit a new high for season four. I'd say it's on its way to winning the whole week in A18-49 again, but it may actually lose out to a fellow MTV show: the Video Music Awards on Sunday.
Above based on FINAL adults 18-49 ratings unless otherwise noted.
